At Braddock Gifted Magnet, we focus on the higher levels of cognitive concepts and thinking processes, provide enrichment, and encourage originality. Differentiation is reflected through acceleration (teaching 1-2 years above grade level is standard), depth, pacing, complexity and creativity.
Braddock Gifted Magnet students excelled on the California Standards Test (STAR) and were one of LAUSD’s highest performing magnet schools. In 2015-2016, 87% of Braddock Gifted Magnet students met or exceeded standards in math; 92% met or exceeded standards in English.
